First I want to apologize to everyone one. I totally spaced out the last update. I’m not sure what happened, but I’m so sorry.
The only thing I could think happened is I haven’t been cross-stitching lately. Life has been busy and I have had other crafts I’m working on.
So sadly no cross-stitching to show you, I had a few gift I needed to get done by this weekend so I’ve been busy working on those.
One of the projects I was working on are these cute gnomes I knitted. I think they turned out so cute.
I have one more project to show you, but I think that should be another post.
We have a new member to our group. Welcome Clare. Please check out what she and the rest of the group have been up to.
The next update is December 2nd. Until then.
Well I get to do another happy dance. I finished my Black Hat Society.
Here is where I was last time.
Here it is finished
I even got it into a frame and up before Halloween 😀
I haven’t started a new project yet. I have been busy making these cuties.
These are easy to knit and I’ve been having fun making them. So far I’ve made 15 of them. I’ve given most of them away.
Not sure what my next project will be. Thought I’d do another Halloween project, but now I’m not sure. I’m kind of over Halloween for now. 😀 I guess it will be a surprise.
Be sure and check out what the others in the SAL have done.

Sorry I’ve been gone awhile. Life got busy with lots of fun stuff.
I want to share with you today what I made for my room mate gifts for convention this year. I am a Stampin Up demonstrator and every year we have a 3-4 day convention in Salt Lake City. (Sadly this was our last one, we are changing to a one day format in the future). We always have so much fun. We usually make gifts for our roommates as well as swaps.
Right now I’m going to share what my gifts were and then later share my swap cards
This year I decided to make a couple of things. The fist thing was a wreath. I made the flowers and leaves out of Designer Series Paper (DSP) them glued them to a wreath I bought at a big box store.
I found the instructions for the flowers from Patty Bennet. Instead of the petal punch she used I used a scalloped circle punch and 3″ circle for the big one.
I then had a personalized Starbucks cup make with their name made. I got the idea from my daughter, she gave me one for Mother’s Day this year. I got them at Busy Bee Wreaths on Facebook. I also knitted cup cozies for them.
Here are all the gifts together
I think they like their gifts and I sure enjoyed making them.
