SAL-Halloween Wreath #8

Well another 3 weeks has flown by.

Life is still busy, but we went to see family a few weeks ago and I was able to get some stitching in while visiting. I’m excited by my progress as I was able to finish another clue.

Here is where I was last update ……

And now…….

I think the hat the witch is wearing is so cute.

The second clue finished the witch and quite a bit of the wreath. I then decided to work on the bow below the house. This is an easier stitch as there aren’t many color changes.

I was getting bored with working on this project, but the progress I’ve made has me excited to work on it again. Hopefully I’ll continue to feel this way 😀

See you in 3 weeks and please check out what progress the others in the SAL have been having.

SAL-Halloween Wreath #6

Happy New Year! It’s hard to believe it’s 2024 already. Last year just flew by! These last 6 weeks have really flown by. We have a great Christmas this year.

The last couple of month have been so busy that it has been hard getting everything I need to do done, but the good news is I was able to get some cross-stitching in. I’ve missed it so it felt good to get back to my project.

Here is what I had done the last time I updated…….

And here is where I am now…….

I finished quite a bit of the wreath, the potion bottle and a cute little bat. I’m almost finished with this clue, which I’m getting excited about.

Well I quess that’s it for now, please check out what the others in the SAL have been working on. See you in 3 weeks for another update

SAL-December

Well life is still very busy. So busy I forget to post last time. So sorry about that.

I haven’t had any time to work on my cross-stitching. I have been working on making washcloths when I have some down time. I like to make my own washcloths and “scrubbies”. The ones I’ve been working on are seasonal washcloths. I made some Halloween ones, but right now I’m working on Christmas ones. I like to make the scrubbies out of the same color I make the washcloths.

Here are some of the ones I’ve finished recently.

The next update is supposed to be December 24th, so we have decided to cancel that update, so our next update will be January 14th.

Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Please check out what the others have been able to work on and I’ll see you in 6 weeks.

SAL-Halloween Wreath #5

Well life has been very busy lately, so busy in fact that I totally forget about the last update 3 weeks ago 🤪

I’m sure you can guess that I haven’t had much time to do much stitching.

Here is where I was 6 weeks ago……

Here is where I am now……

I was able to finish the cat and get more of the wreath done.

Hopefully I’ll find more time in the next 3 week to stitch, but who knows with the holiday season approaching fast.

Please check out what the others have been working on and see you in 3 weeks.

SAL-Halloween Wreath #4

Wow it’s hard to believe it’s September already. It’s time for another update.

Here’s where I was last update……..

I was able to get some stitching done. I’m starting to see some of the fun characters. Now I’m working on a cute kitten holding a pumpkin.

Please check out what the others in the SAL have been working on.

Well that’s all for now. See you in three weeks.

SAL-Halloween Wreath #1

The last 3 weeks have been very busy but I finally decided on a project to work on. I’m starting the Halloween Wreath by The Frosted Pumpkin. This is a mystery wreath. Each month we get a clue for 11 months. As usual I’m behind on the clues, but that is Ok. Sometimes it takes me awhile to get started.

Here is what it looks like after the first 6 clues……

I am working on the house in the middle. Here is what I have finished so far……..

Please check out what the others in the SAL have been working on and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.

SAL-Socks #2

Time for another update. Can’t believe it’s the middle of June already.

I have been working mainly on my socks these last 3 weeks. I’ve made good progress and am happy with how they are turning out.

Here’s where I was 3 weeks ago……

And now…..

I finish up to the heel flap on both socks and then switched to working on just one sock at a time as it was to hard to turn the heel on both socks at a time. I finished making the heel and am on to the foot. Not much left to do an this one and then I’ll finish the other sock.

Please check out what the others in the SAL have been working on and I’ll be back in 3 weeks for another update.

SAL – May #2

Well another 3 weeks have gone by. Wow it’s hard to believe summer is here.

I’m afraid I don’t have anything to share in cross-stitching again this update. 😩 I’ve been having a severe case of start-itis. I can’t seem to decide what I want to work on, so I start a project and then decide I don’t like the background color or I don’t really want to work on this one. So I put it down and look for something else. Hopefully I’ll settle on something soon.

I have gotten some other stitching in though, I have been working on knitting a pair of socks. I haven’t made socks for a long time and am enjoying working on these.

Hopefully soon I’ll decide on a cross-stitch project soon.

Please check out what the others in the SAL are working on. Hopefully they are doing better then me in finding a favorite project 🤣

See you in 3 weeks.

SAL-Seasonal Truck Happy Dance

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying spring. It is finally getting warm here, which I love.

I have a final “happy dance” to report! I finished my last seasonal truck. July was my last truck, I chose to do the 4th of July truck.

Here is the July truck……

And here are all 12 of my tricks finish, mounted and ready to go.

Here is April’s truck in my tiered tray.

I’m very happy with the way they turned out and look forward to using them each month.

So now I have to figure out what my next project is. Probably the seasonal houses.

Please check out what the others in the SAL have been working on and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.
