SAL-Seasonal Trucks # 7

Hope your year is going well so far. It has been good for us, but of course the year is new 🤣

Things have slowed down some after the holiday rush, so I was able to get some stitching in.

I finished my February truck. It is so cute.

I’m going to be kind of sad when these trucks are done. They are so cute and a quick stitch.

Erica (the lady that did the truck series) has a new monthly series she started this month called Stitchy House of the Month. It is like the truck series, but with cute seasonal houses. I’m going to do these as well. I’m hoping I can keep up with each month and not fall behind, so maybe I can work on other things as well. If not no problem, I’m not going to stress about it. I’m enjoying stitching them as well.

Here is where I am so far……

Well that is it for this update. See you in 3 weeks for another update.

Seasonal Trucks #6

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. Ours was a very good one.

I was able to get some stitching in between all the holiday craziness.

I finished my January truck. I wasn’t sure about making the truck a dark blue like the pattern called for, but I’m glad I went with it. I really like it.

Here is my January truck…….

I’m looking forward to the February truck. Valentines will be cute I’m sure.

Thank so much for stopping by. Please check out what the others in the SAL have been stitching and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.

December SAL Update

Well here it is December already. This year has flow by!

Things have been crazy busy here and unfortunately I haven’t had any time to stitch since my last update. Fortunately I’m over the sickness, just busy with cleaning, decorating and getting ready for Christmas

Hope you have all have a great Christmas!

See you in three weeks. Please check out what the others have been working on.

Seasonal Trucks # 5

Well between traveling, the holiday, (Thanksgiving here in America) and being sick I somehow miss my reminder and the update, so I’m a week behind.

I was able to finish the December truck. This time the truck is red instead of blue. I thought about making it blue, but a red truck is so much better for the Christmas season.

Here is the December truck…….

Please check out what the others posted last week and I’ll be back in two weeks with another update.

SAL-Seasonal Trucks #4

Happy Halloween. Hard to believe tomorrow is November. I know I have said it before (probably many times😀) but this year has flown by.

I have to apologize for being a day late with my update. Yesterday day just flew by and I totally forget.

I was able to get my October truck matted and I’m using it this month.

Here is my matted, all finished truck……

And here is how I’m using it in my Halloween tiered tray in my kitchen.

I decorate this area for each holiday and season. I like the way the truck looks on the tray so I may be using each month’s truck here.

I was also able to finish most of November’s truck. I didn’t have one of the colors I needed, but only have about half an hour of stitching left to do.

Thanks so much for stopping by and please check out what the others in the SAL have been stitching.

See you in 3 weeks for another update.

SAL- Seasonal Truck #3

It is so hard to believe it is October already. Were did this year go?

Life has been busy, so I haven’t had much time to do much stitching. I was able to get my October truck done though.

Here is my October truck……

I’m having a lot of fun doing these trucks. It is fun seeing want is going to be in the back of the truck each month.

Please check out what the others in the SAL have been doing doing and I’ll see you in 3 weeks

September SAL-Seasonal Trucks #2

Well I have found some time to work on my seasonal Trucks. Last update I was working on my August truck. I was able to finish it and also finished my September one. I actually finished 4 of these trucks. I decided to make the whole set for my friend and since I had all the floss out that I would make a set for myself. 🤣

I’m hoping I’ll have a finished sample next update, but I wanted to show what the project is supposed to look like when done.

Here is want the finished August looks like ……

From creator’s website

Here is where I was last update……

I had started the truck on white cloth after deciding I didn’t like it on grey cloth.

Here is my August truck……

And my September truck,,,,,

Only 10 more to go. 🤣

Please check out what others in the SAL have been stitching and I’ll see you in 3 weeks with another update.

SAL-August

I took a break from Snow Pals to work on a gift for a friend’s birthday. My friend really likes the old pickup trucks. She loves the red ones with the Christmas tree in the back that have been popular at Christmas. So when I saw this set of Vintage Truck of the Month by Erica I knew I wanted to make the August one for her birthday. I plan on making the whole set, but this one is the first.

I finished this and am not sure I like the colors together. I think the background is to dark. The example has a white background so I decided to start over with the white. I also made the truck a darker shade of blue. Lucky this piece is a relatively fast stitch.

Here is where I am now. I like this combo much better. I will share the finished project in the next update.

Please stop by and see what the others in the SAL have been doing and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.

August SAL-Snow Pals#3

Life has been busy and time has just gotten away from me. So unfortunately I’m a day late with this update 😩

I was able to get some stitching in, not much but I’m thinking right now just a few stitches is better then nothing 😀

I was able to get the deer’s nose done and start one of his antlers

Here is where I was last update…….

And now…….

SAL-July

Life has been super busy lately. July is always a busy month. It seems like we always have a lot of company and activities this month. So there hasn’t been any time for stitching, and I’m afraid I don’t have anything to show this update. Hopefully things will slow down soon, and I’ll have something to show next update.

Hope your summer is going well.

Please check out what the others in the SAL have been up to, and I’ll be back in 3 weeks.
