I’m so sorry I’m a day late with my update. Life has been totally crazy around here lately. Yesterday we had our family Thanksgiving dinner here at our house and between preparing the dinner, having everyone over, and decorating our Christmas tree (our tradition is to have Thanksgiving dinner then the Kids all decorate the tree) I totally forget about posting. We always have our Thanksgiving early so the kids can go to the in-laws on Thanksgiving day.
I did find some time to stitch though. I have made some good progress on the Cat & Bat store.
Here is were I was the last update……
You can see a bat in the window and next I’ll be adding in a cat.
I’ll hopefully be starting the banner at the bottom before our next update, but if not I’m enjoying this project, so I’m in no hurry.
Please be sure and check out what the others in the SAL have been doing and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.
Time for another SAL update and I can’t believe it’s September already. This year is sure going by fast!
I have decided that I want to get some UFO’s finished, and since I was on Halloween, I decided to stick to that theme.
I found this project and I think the last time I worked on it was October of last year, so almost a year ago. It was a mystery SAL from The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery . The name of the pattern is Midnight Way. I really like their patterns, they are so cute, have lots of color and seem to stitch up fast.
Here is were I was a year ago……..
And here I am now…..
As you can see I have had some time to stitch these last 3 week ( well really the last month.)
I was able to finish “Broom Hilda’s” broom shop and start on the “Ghost Writer Book Shop”. The next shop is going to be a pet store and then there is a border under the shops. It has been fun watching the shops grow.
Looking forward to seeing how much I can get done by the next update.
Please check out what the others in the SAL have been up to and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.
Unfortunately I haven’t had much time these past 3 weeks to work on my stitching, but that is a good things as I’ve been busy doing other things 😀
I did want to share with you though my Black Hat Society all framed up. My friend loved it.
Don’t sure what I will be working on next. I don’t want to give up totally on “Getting Ready” but feel I need to work on something with more color. Maybe I’ll have to trade off on 2 different projects for awhile.
Please check out what the others in the SAL have been working on and I’ll see you in 3 weeks. Hopefully I’ll have more to show you.
Well I finally have a happy dance to report! I have finished my Black Hat Society. I’m very excited that I got it done before my “deadline”. Also very glad that I started when I did because, I never would have made it otherwise.
Here’s where I was last update…..
And now the finished project…….
I’m sure my girlfriend is going to love it, but I’ll let you know in the next update.
I think now I’ll work some more on Getting Ready, but I also have some UFOs I want to work on so maybe I’ll alternate between those projects
Please be sure and check out what the others are working on, and I’ll see you in three weeks.
Time for another SAL update. This summer is very busy and I’m having little to no time to stitch. (Which is not a bad thing, just means I’m busy doing other fun things 😀) I was able to squeeze in a little time to stitch. I need to find some time soon to work on this, as I want to finish this by the 1st of August to give to my friend.
Here is where I was last time……
I was able to get most of the hat band done and just have the brim to go.
Please check out what the others in the SAL have been able to do these last 3 weeks. See you in 3 weeks.
