SAL – May #2

Well another 3 weeks have gone by. Wow it’s hard to believe summer is here.

I’m afraid I don’t have anything to share in cross-stitching again this update. 😩 I’ve been having a severe case of start-itis. I can’t seem to decide what I want to work on, so I start a project and then decide I don’t like the background color or I don’t really want to work on this one. So I put it down and look for something else. Hopefully I’ll settle on something soon.

I have gotten some other stitching in though, I have been working on knitting a pair of socks. I haven’t made socks for a long time and am enjoying working on these.

Hopefully soon I’ll decide on a cross-stitch project soon.

Please check out what the others in the SAL are working on. Hopefully they are doing better then me in finding a favorite project 🤣

See you in 3 weeks.

SAL-May

Well life has been super busy right now, so unfortunately I haven’t had any time to get some stitching in.

Hopefully things will calm down and I’ll have something to share in the next update.

Please check out what the others in the SAL have been able to get done.

SAL-Seasonal Truck Happy Dance

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying spring. It is finally getting warm here, which I love.

I have a final “happy dance” to report! I finished my last seasonal truck. July was my last truck, I chose to do the 4th of July truck.

Here is the July truck……

And here are all 12 of my tricks finish, mounted and ready to go.

Here is April’s truck in my tiered tray.

I’m very happy with the way they turned out and look forward to using them each month.

So now I have to figure out what my next project is. Probably the seasonal houses.

Please check out what the others in the SAL have been working on and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.

SAL-Seasonal Truck #10

Three weeks have just flown by. It has been really busy, so I haven’t had much stitching time, but I was able to finish my June truck. It turned out really cute. I really like the surf board on the roof.

Well I only have one more truck to go. Then finish them all with their backings. My goal is finishing them all by the next update.

Well I guess that is all for now. Please check out what the other members of the SAL have been working on and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.

SAL-Seasonal Trucks #9

Time again for another SAL update

I haven’t gotten as much cross-stitching in this time, but I was able to finish my May truck. It is so cute, with the watering can and flowers. I did change the color of the truck to the blue I’ve been using for most of the other trucks. The original was a dark purple and I’m not to thrilled about purple. It was nice to stitch all those colors. Only 2 more to go.

One of the reasons I haven’t been cross stitching is that I’ve gotten side tracked with some knitting. I’m working on a throw. I have had the yarn for a couple of years and finally decided what I wanted to do with it. I’m going to keep this one. It will go great in my bedroom.

I also got a set of those cute marshmallow mug guys for Christmas this year. So of course I had to make some cute seasonal hats for them.

Here are the ones I made for January……

And St Patrick’s hats for March. I just need to figure out a buckle for them, or maybe I’ll add a cute button.

So I guess I’ve been busy, just not with cross-stitching 😀

Please check out what the other members of the SAL have been stitching and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.

SAL- Seasonal Trucks #8

Well it’s hard to believe another 3 weeks has gone by. I can’t believe it is the middle of February already.

Life has slow down a bit and I’ve been able to get some stitching in. I was able to get 2 months done. So I have 9 months done and only 3 more to go.

Here is March’s truck

And April’s truck

I decided to finish the trucks, before I worked on the houses. I wasn’t happy with the background color of the houses, I didn’t think the house showed up enough so am going to try a different color. So I decided I would finish the trucks before I started the houses.

Hopefully next time I’ll have a couple more trucks done.

Please check out what the others have been working on, and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.

SAL-Seasonal Trucks # 7

Hope your year is going well so far. It has been good for us, but of course the year is new 🤣

Things have slowed down some after the holiday rush, so I was able to get some stitching in.

I finished my February truck. It is so cute.

I’m going to be kind of sad when these trucks are done. They are so cute and a quick stitch.

Erica (the lady that did the truck series) has a new monthly series she started this month called Stitchy House of the Month. It is like the truck series, but with cute seasonal houses. I’m going to do these as well. I’m hoping I can keep up with each month and not fall behind, so maybe I can work on other things as well. If not no problem, I’m not going to stress about it. I’m enjoying stitching them as well.

Here is where I am so far……

Well that is it for this update. See you in 3 weeks for another update.

Please stop by and see what the others in the SAL are working on….

Seasonal Trucks #6

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. Ours was a very good one.

I was able to get some stitching in between all the holiday craziness.

I finished my January truck. I wasn’t sure about making the truck a dark blue like the pattern called for, but I’m glad I went with it. I really like it.

Here is my January truck…….

I’m looking forward to the February truck. Valentines will be cute I’m sure.

Thank so much for stopping by. Please check out what the others in the SAL have been stitching and I’ll see you in 3 weeks.

Seasonal Trucks # 5

Well between traveling, the holiday, (Thanksgiving here in America) and being sick I somehow miss my reminder and the update, so I’m a week behind.

I was able to finish the December truck. This time the truck is red instead of blue. I thought about making it blue, but a red truck is so much better for the Christmas season.

Here is the December truck…….

Please check out what the others posted last week and I’ll be back in two weeks with another update.
